Fresh Water

“Global freshwater consumption rose sixfold between 1900 and 1995 - more than twice the rate of population growth. About one third of the world’s population already lives in countries considered to be “water stressed” -  that is, where consumption exceeds 10% of total supply. If present trends continue, two out of every three people on Earth will live in that condition by 2025”.
Kofi Annan, in “We The Peoples, 2000”

With ground water levels decreasing, the need for purified surface water increases. Global Waters Technologies has developed a water purification system, the GWT-FW that is an affordable and reliable alternative to the standard reverse osmosis systems. Not only does it have the ability to self-adjust to changing feed-water conditions, but can also do so while maintaining a high level of efficiency for both power usage and feed water wastage.

The system is self-adaptive so doesn’t need user intervention; in the event of a problem, the system will automatically shut down. The technology is completely scalable so it covers a wide and diverse range of water purification applications for commercial, industrial and municipal customers. GWT has designed a small commercial unit that can process 28,000 gallons of water per day.

The GWT-FW will work with most any water that is biologically and chemically safe, however, with proper pretreatment, the systems will work exceptionally well with most waters.

This are examples of two 9,000 gallons per day systems designed and built to be use as a Point of Entry (POE) systems in a condominium complex in the U. S. with a 95% output and with the following dimensions:

    Height: 60 inches
    Length: 30 inches
    Width: 30 inches

Concerned with the plight of remote communities around the world that don’t have access to clean water or the means to purify it along with problems encountered by emergency services covering disasters like Hurricanes Katrina and Rita in the United States and the tsunamis that have pummeled Southeast Asia recently, Global Waters Technologies designed the SCWS-3000 to assist in such occasions.
